BEO works with fishing communities, fisheries institutions and other stakeholders to strengthen responsible fishing practices and improve how decisions are made. Handling, storage, transport, processing and access to markets all influence how much fishing households earn and how much fish reaches consumers. BEO works with communities and relevant partners to identify practical opportunities to reduce post-harvest losses, improve fish quality and strengthen market connections.
