Judith Temu

Project Coordinator - Mainland

Judith Herman Temu is a dedicated Research Assistant and Laboratory Scientist at the University of Dar es Salaam, School of Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Technology (SoAF). She holds a Bachelor of Science in marine sciences, which has equipped her with a strong foundation in marine research and conservation. Judith’s passion for sustainable marine practices and ecosystem preservation is evident in her professional pursuits. Her expertise spans roles such as Cluster Manager at Mwani Mariculture Limited and Whale Shark Conservationist during her internship with Watonet. With research interests in seaweed farming, value addition, and coastal socio-economics, Judith is driven to bridge scientific research and community-based conservation, contributing to the sustainable use of marine resources in Tanzania.
