BEO in collaboration with other organisations, successfully organised a community event to celebrate World Oceans Day through a coastal cleanup campaign in Sinda Island, Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam. The event engaged local fishers, youth, and women’s groups, emphasising the importance of marine conservation and plastic waste reduction. Over 103 kg of waste collected and learning sustainable waste management practices.
